Noorul Haq Khan

Noorul Haq Khan was an educator, researcher, and writer. He spent innumerable time studying Islam, Ahmadiyyat, and the Holy Qur’an.

He was raised amongst the companions of the Promised Messiah (a.s.), and learned to lead a life following the example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.).

1925-2021

On January 13, 2021, Respected Noorul Haq Khan, at the age of 95 and surrounded by his family, passed away.

اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَ اِنَّاۤ اِلَیہِ رٰجِعُوْنَ

محترم نورالحق خان صاحب مؤرخہ 13 جنوری 95 برس کی عمر میں بقضائے الٰہی وفات پا گئے ہیں۔

About Noorul Haq Khan

Respected Noorul Haq Khan Sahib was born in 1925 in Theh Ghulam Nabi, Punjab, India.

Age of 14 in Batala, Punjab. During a local political event, Khan Sahib noticed a photographer on a rooftop, so he faced the camera and retrieved a copy of the photo a few days later.

During his last meeting with Hazrat Dr. Mufti Muhammad Sadiq Sahib (r.a.), at Mufti Sahib’s home in Rabwah, December, 1954. Mufti Sahib passed away in 1957.

Respected Noorul Haq Khan Sahib lived with his wife in Columbus, Ohio until his passing on January 13, 2021. Together, they have 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Noorul Haq Khan Sahib was born in 1925 in Theh Ghulam Nabi, Punjab, India, to Mubarak Ali, son of Sultan Bakhsh, and Innayat Begum. He migrated to East Africa at the age of 3. At the age of 10, he was sent to Qadian for his education. In 1958 he migrated back to East Africa. In 1987, he immigrated to Columbus, Ohio, where he currently lives.

He received a B.A. in Arabic from Punjab University and a B.S. from Lyallpur Agricultural College. In East Africa, he worked for 30 years as an education officer.

In 1952, he married Amatul Aziz Bushra Khanem Sahiba, daughter of Hazrat Faizul Haq Khan Sahib (r.a.). Together, they have 6 children: Kalim Khan, Naeem Khan, Rehana Khan, Tahera Anwar, Sabiha Ijaz, and Nafisa Ahmed. They have 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In 2012, he published Aasmaani Sadaa (Heavenly Voice), defending the truth of the Promised Messiah (a.s.). In 2020, he completed his 20-year-long commentary of the Holy Qur’an.
